Solar Floating Farms Can Produce 20 Tons Of Vegetables Daily

This is an innovative approach to traditional farming. This design is an amazing solar powered floating island covered with several farms and it was created by Forward Thinking Architecture.
The floating islands create a sustainable environment by working in a very energy efficient way, harvesting both sunlight and rainwater. The floating farms can produce 20 tons of vegetables daily. The great advantage of this invention is that such farms can be built all around the world, even in places that are hardly accessible or not suitable for farming. This will encourage locals to grow their own food and reduce the amount of imported goods, saving money and providing new jobs.Based on a floating multi-layered strategy, which combines aquaculture (fish), hydroponics (crops) and photovoltaics (solar power), these floating farms can be located close to areas where food is more needed and potentially become automated farm clusters run by the use of software.
