This off the grid cabin in Montana is an inspiring example of truly living off of the land, and enjoying the benefits of simple life.
The cabin has an attached greenhouse plus a huge garden for growing food and a root cellar for food storage. The cabin itself has a total living space of 675 square feet.
Solar curtains are used to keep the cabin cooler in the summer and to keep heat in during the winter.
The solar panels provide all of the power needed to run the LED lights, refrigerator, and outlets for appliances, phone charger, and computer. Solar powered living is becoming more and more popular.
The greenhouse and the garden provide most of the needs (in the growing season) for the owner, who is vegan.
